Rules
The rules followed standard baccarat except on the Banker bet: (1) all wins pay even money, and (2) if the banker wins with a three-card total of 7, then the banker bet will push. There are a couple of side bets added, the Dragon 7 and Panda 8, which are explained below.

Whenever a new variation of a popular game is released, the first thing you have to do is look at how the odds have changed for any of the bets. That's definitely the case when it comes to EZ Baccarat, and because it changes the classical rules for one of the main wagers available in the game, it's obvious that it has some major affects on the correct EZ Baccarat strategy. We're going to start you out with the odds on the common bets and then show you the odds on the new bets and what you can do to try to boost your payout rate.
EZ Baccarat Game Strategy by the Numbers
The banker bet is the only established bet that changes in EZ Baccarat. Instead of using the normal 0.95:1 payout, it's given a 1:1 payout instead. While that's in favor of betting on the banker, it's tempered by the fact that winning on three-card totals of seven is switched to a push. Nevertheless, this version of the banker bet is slightly more favorable than the original with a low 1.02 percent house advantage (compared to about 1.06 percent before). This is a small difference, but it adds up over time.
The basis of EZ Baccarat strategy is to make small bets on the banker bet while you count cards for the side bets. Once you have a profitable situation for a side bet, you place larger wagers on those instead. The systems used for counting cards for the Dragon 7 and Panda 8 side bets in EZ Baccarat are very complicated, and it takes a ton of practice and concentration to count for both side bets at the same time. However, it's definitely possible for those who want to put in the right amount of work, and it's the best Baccarat game strategy for the EZ style.
Counting for the Dragon 7
A balanced counting system can be used for the Dragon 7 side bet. You'll subtract one from the count on a four through seven, and you'll add two to the count on an eight or nine being dealt. Aces, twos, threes and all cards valued ten (including jacks, queens and kings) do not affect the count for this system. If the true count is at four or higher, then you'll have a profitable wager with the Dragon 8, and that's going to come up relatively often.
Counting for the Panda 8
Counting can also work for the Panda 8 side bet, but it uses a more difficult system. Aces, twos and cards with a value of zero (tens, jacks, queens and kings) all have a value of one in this system. Nines are worth four. Threes, fours, fives and eights are a -2 in this counting system, but sixes and sevens are just -1. When the true count is 11 or higher, you'll make the bet with this system since you'll have the advantage. It's worth nothing that a true count of 10 with this system has a house advantage of zero percent on the Panda 8, which means that there is a bet with a neutral house edge in EZ Baccarat strategy.
